Dear Storm Families and High Schools!
This past February of the 2009 National season, Desert Storm Elite Special Needs Team "Lightning" competed at Spirit Sports Nationals in Palm Springs, there we were awarded as the Editor's Choice Winner. Not only was their performance an outstanding performance, but they also received a standing ovation from the entire competition! We are so excited they will be featured in American Cheerleader's Magazine in the July/August issue!
In addition Lightning is up for an additional award. With the help of everyone they will be competing against 11 other AC Editor Choice winners from around the country AC will be featuring 30 second clips of the 12 finalist and the top 3 most voted teams win team rings from Jostens. Let's make our Lightning team from Arizona be one of those top 3 teams, this will show your support to our very special athletes who share a common love of our sport! Thank you in advance for all your support in making this experience a great one for our AMAZING LIGHTNING team!!!!!
